Very convenient and good to have easy parking Very quiet

We booked at the last minute for four nights, 11 - 15 April 2026, with some misgivings because the telephone number on the website was not in use. When we arrived there was no one to be seen - just a notice on the door with a mobile number. We rang and were given a code to open the door and another to get the key from the key safe outside the room. The room was clean and bed was comfortable, however, the next morning, there was no hot water in the shower. We rang and were told we had probably showered at the wrong time. The room was not cleaned. Same the next day but we were moved to another room - clean but shabby. This time the shower was fine but the loo was very temperamental and again the room was not cleaned. We left after four days without having seen any one. It felt very odd to be in a hotel , apparently deserted, although the carpark was full. The reviews on the website did not seem to relate to the place in which we stayed. They spoke of breakfast being extra, but we saw no signs of breakfast, and there was no one to ask. There was no information at all in the rooms. I certainly could not recommend it.

Awful, a broken toilet in rm11. Not fixed. Offered to use a downstairs loo, old man middle of the night, not really. All correspondence by text no face to face to solve the problem. Informed I could leave early evening so decided to leave and obtained a refund. Awful awful experience and would definitely not recommend this hotel. I could go on that at 1 point it was thought that was a woman and was I really sure that I was booked into rm 11. Awful.

A little dated. But clean and looked after and literally 5 minutes to the town centre.

Taunton house hotel The room was clean and wash room excellent As wife is disabled was nice to have a ground floor room. It was easy to get in to the hotel with the code.Car parking was excellent. Close to town centre.

Booked a 4 poster room which was accepted & acknowledged in my booking only to be allocated a family room on arrival -very unprofessional & so very disappointing. Also this accommodation is unmanned, wasnt sent code to get into the building & room … had to read a note on the front door to ring a number - would never have booked this place if id if known this as its stressful to get in.
