Staff is friendly and helpful, location is great and its a nice building.

It certainly is not a 4 star hotel. Gym is just a basement room with a couple of exercise bikes. And i believe the spa has not been used in ages and is probably not operational anymore. Additionally the breakfast is pretty bad especially for a 4 star hotel.

It's located within walking distance from all main spots. Nice architecture and view - as well as most of other buildings in the region.

They've charged us over 40% more when we did the checkout because we paid with credit card. It was abusive and coercive since we had to go to the airport and didn't have the time to go to an ATM and withdraw cash. If AT LEASR they had said that when we did the checkin 2 days before, we would have got cash. They say in the description that they accept credit card and there isn't any advises about this extra fee. They tried send us a "link" for online payment that didn't work with any of our credit cards. All these cards were satisfactory working in all places in Bolivia, including online and other hotels. They say they have spa services, but it's not true. It's just a sauna. My review could be very different if they didn't have took advantage of us. Such a shame!

Me gustó mucho alojarme en Villa Antigua. Es la segunda vez que me hospedo aquí y el trato siempre ha sido bueno, las habitaciones cómodas, el rooftop muy agradable y bonito para ver el sunset. El desayuno es bastante completo y la ubicación es buenísima. Está cerca de la plaza y de la zona de tiendas y cafés...¡Volveré!

the breakfast was OK. The attendant was pleasant and cooked our eggs the way we wanted. Hot milk for coffee was good. The room was nice and the view was amazing. the location was amazing. We walked everywhere and could see the mountains from our room. I spent time outside in the patio which was lovely.

The bed could be firmer and bigger. The breakfast with less breads and more fruit and vegetables would be nicer. but that might be the culture.
