Water fountain sound so natural and amazing. Room layouts and furniture arrangement looks nice. Rooms cleaniness also great.

We had a 100 pax off-site training for 2 days 1 night at Casa del Rio. The team provided excellent service and were able to accommodate all the requests we have especially those last minute ones. The process of check in was smooth and the quality of the rooms were top-notch! The view of the river from the room is beautiful. The banquet team were up to speed to serve the food and presented warm hospitality to all of us. We enjoyed the food that was being served and our Japanese colleague got to enjoy the local cuisine for the first time visiting Melaka. It is a successful event we had in Casa del Rio and look forward to having more here! events

Stayed in the 2-bedroom suite during the Christmas holidays. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised by the cool welcome dessert and towels served while we waited for our room to be ready. The suite was quaint and adequately sized with a kitchenette; however, the room and hotel itself was very worn out and badly needed some refurbishing. Cleanliness was subpar as well. Christmas dinner buffet was nice with a good selection and entertainment. Went for a massage at the spa but the maseusse completed the massage earlier than she was supposed to and kept yawning throughout the therapy. She also spent a lot of time sitting down just massaging my scalp instead of focusing on the whole body. On Christmas day, Santa Claus accompanied by a couple of hotel staff went around the hotel giving out goodies. Good hospitality but hotel needs a makeover and upgrade.

We had a fantastic hospitality stay experiences at Casa Rio. Totally enjoy the ambience, services everything from concierges , restaurants, housekeeping to spa. The concierges are very helpful in recommending where we can shop to sightseeing. We want to sincerely thanks to your Captain Rio Mr Ali. He is extremely fast and sincere in attending our request. He always very patient in answering to our queries and always service with his sincere smile. Thumbs Up.

Our room was stunning, with a view over the calm green river, and filled with delicate touches that made us feel truly special. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was flawless: cool towels, a refreshing welcome drink, and the kindest smiles from the reception team — it was the perfect start to our stay. The atmosphere of the hotel reflects the colorful spirit of the city itself — warm, inviting, full of history and beauty. I fell in love with this place, and will always carry the memory of watching the sunset from our balcony, listening to the river below. A true gem for couples seeking beauty, peace, and romance in the heart of Melaka.

Casa Del Rio Melaka is perfectly located for exploring the heart of Malacca — everything was within walking distance. I stayed in a River View room and loved waking up to the scenic views. The room itself felt homey, with thoughtful details like the My Personal Malacca journal and a book on the city that added a personal touch. I also appreciated how responsive the staff were — I requested help with the mosquitoes on the balcony, and they provided not one but three solutions: an essential oil candle, mosquito coil, and a liquid electric repeller. A special shoutout to Bob, who was incredibly kind and accommodating. Thanks to the team, my stay was not just comfortable, but genuinely memorable.

The hotel's location is its biggest selling point – it's right by the river. However, if you're a light sleeper, it can be quite noisy, as there are many bars along the riverside with live singers performing until midnight. The hotel facilities are outdated and in need of renovation. In our room, the toilet was leaking, the air conditioning had a faulty thermostat, and it was very noisy. Cleanliness also needs improvement – the bathtub was particularly dirty, not properly cleaned, and even had body hair from the previous guest. The balcony railing and sliding door were dusty as well. That said, when visiting Melaka, there’s really no better alternative than this hotel – because the others are even worse.

I arrived by coach from Singapore and unfortunately, my wife experienced some dizziness and vomited along the way. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Emma at check-in. Qayyum then guided us to the library to rest and offered us some lemon drinks thats was helpful while we waited for our room to be ready. About 15 minutes later, Redzuan came over and informed us that our room was ready. he was very helpful throughout. We truly appreciate the hospitality and hope to try the river view room in the future!

A huge thank you to Qayyum, Nazren, Farid, Marfatis, Nabil, and Faqul for making my wife and me feel so warmly welcomed! Their genuine care and effort truly made our stay special, especially the thoughtful surprise they arranged for our anniversary — it was incredibly sweet and memorable. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back! Excellent stay in Malacca! The great location made it easy to explore—just steps from Jonker Street, the riverside, and top attractions. The very friendly staff were welcoming and helpful throughout. Our spacious room was clean, comfortable, and a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. Perfect choice for convenience & comfort. Highly recommended!
