Beautiful room x 2 (singles), very clean and comfortable beds. Quiet at night even though right on a road. Couldn’t hear anything at all. The welcome we received from Karen and Karl was friendly, welcoming and they ensured we had everything we needed. Karen and Karl also remembered our names, and other guests names, throughout our stay, which showed how attentive they were. Breakfast was delicious, even for my bro who doesn’t eat pork and is fussy about veggie sausages and really enjoyed his (I think a little bit of above and beyond happened here to get the right ones for him). Would absolutely recommend this guest house and would absolutely stay again if up this way.

Karen and Carl were great hosts. Asked for an early check in due to going to a wedding and it proved no bother. Karen was very punctual in replying to messages and even recommended taxi firm to help us get to the venue and back. The room (twin room) was great. Comfy bed and two pillows! Bathroom was clean and even had toiletries (shower gel etc). Breakfast was great, a full English but also had continental option too. I would definitely recommend laburnum cottage guest house - we had a great stay, thank you Karen and Carl!

Nothing negative to say, would definitely recommend staying here 😄
