Laburnum Cottage Guest House

Karen and Karl were brilliant. Really friendly and helpful, and we had a car emergency late at night and needed another room, which they sorted without any issues and also offered to come and collect us. How lovely to stay with such wonderful people. If anyone is visiting Lapland, they are only 15 mins away, so it would be a great place to stay. Would happily stay again, and recommend.

Karen and her husband (I didn't catch his name, sorry!) are both really lovely people and it was a pleasure to stay at their guest house. There is a road closure at the moment on the road that leads to the house, and Karen called me to let me know when I was on my way & her husband also talked me through the shortcut the locals take so I didn't have to do the 10 mile detour! The room was perfect for one person and was spotless. Karen also cooks a great breakfast. Thank you!

What a great b&b, we were at a wedding locally and they let us book in early, gave taxi info, the communication was amazing. They called us on route as there was a road closure and diversion in place which would have delayed us. They guided us in, so kind and thoughtful. The hosts were so lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was really nice, all the little touches were appreciated. The bed was soooooo comfy! The breakfast was delicious, we really enjoyed, was a welcome delight after the night before. All in all this b&b was an amazing find. Could not fault it in any way. Thank you so much

Thank you, Karl and Karen, for a truly fantastic stay at Laburnum Cottage! We booked both the family room and the double room, both were beautifully presented, spotless, and very comfortable. Karl and Karen were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Checking in with us before our stay, helping us navigate around a road closure, and even kindly lending me cufflinks (which I forgot) !
