Gorgeous panoramic views from room and restaurant. Excellent dinner and breakfast - highly professional service. Luxurious room. Hiking trails from hotel, but also close to town. We will return!

"A Swiss fairy tale. "

We come back to the Grand Chalet in Gstaad every year. It truly represents the best of what Switzerland offers. A wonderful chalet (not one of this big impersonal hotels) that offers great facilities and a most welcoming hotel staff. They make you feel at home and are always there to help and guide you in your many discoveries in this beautiful town of Gstaad in the Berner Oberland. The restaurant La Bagatelle is first class and offers, in addition to meat dishes, the best ocean fish you can find. Enjoy the panoramic terrace in the evening. Breathtaking and so quiet and relaxing. A WINNER that will make you come back and appreciate true Swiss hospitality.

"Room with a view to die for!"

Room has excellent view of the GStaad Valley and mountains. Staff (front desk, drivers and catering) were all extremely polite, efficient and showed keen interest in providing the best of service.

"Wonderful rustic Swiss hotel with mod cons"

The hotel staff were simply amazing and cannot do enough for you - in particular Carole at reception and Antonio the shuttle bus driver. The hotel stands a lone on a hill so is not within walking distance to the town esp in winter when there is ice and snow, But there is a free shuttle bus up to 6pm to take you to the ski slopes or to town. The hotel's restaurant is supposed to be one of the best in Gstaad. Highly recommended.
