"Stunning location, friendly attentive staff."

The location was stunning and one room over the pool was very comfortable and quiet. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, food was delicious, chef made vegan mayo especially for daughter which was greatly appreciated.

My daughter had a room over the sauna and this was oppressively hot during heat wave and neighbours banged doors through the night so couldn't sleep.

"An exceptional experience"

The room was one of the most pleasant I have ever had good fortune to stay at the whole ambience was excellent. One very very small the police thing of the kettle. I had to seek a plug. Overall, despite the unpleasant heat which I could do absolutely nothing about it was most pleasant stay. I will Be returning. Thank you to the very high lady who assisted me by carrying my bags to my car. It was much appreciated.

Having to climb the stairs, but I suppose because of the age of the building a lift is out of the question. Except for that everything was exceptional.

Very warm welcome on arrival and very flexible when we wanted to change the time for dinner. Great pool and jacuzzi for relaxing after a day of walking. Nice room, spacious and clean. Delicious dinner!

We were a bit rushed at breakfast and it didn't quite live up to our expectations after such a great dinner.

The staff were very friendly, the views from the Manor across the valley were amazing.

The only issue was our room was above the kitchen area, and although we had an air conditioner it was either very noisy or very hot.

"Lovely location for an excellent country house hotel serving great food."

I had a superior room with a fantastic view over the Usk Valley. The room was large and very comfortable. We had the Welsh tapas in the evening and a full Welsh for breakfast. Both were excellent. The hotel is based in an old manor house so the stair are a bit wonky but that adds to its charm.

No compliants whatsoever.
