Room was great size and comfy. Bathroom was well appointed but the shower was very poor - it took a very long time to get warm and the pressure was poor plus the cubicle was small.
stayed two nights as we where going the races at uttoxeter, everythink about the hotel was brilliant and had a wonderful time . would stay again

A good hotel with a big bedroom and 4 poster bed. The only slight problem is that they don't do food but they rang a local restaurant for me and booked a table.
Very friendly welcome. Victorian hotel well decorated with good taste in furnishings. Excellent breakfast. Would stay again.
The hotel was clean and the manager was very helpful .the bedroom was clean and very tidy .a beautiful laid out breakfast. The breakfast filled you up for the day
The hotel owners are lovely, the room was beautiful and well kept, great location, would definitely recommended and stay again! The only gripe was the lack of hot water in the evening due to the age of the building.
Lovely hotel and Host! You could help yourself to fruit, cereals and yogurts at breakfast and alternatively you could order a full English breakfast. No other meals were served on site but restaurants in town were a 2 minute walk away. would highly recommend, lovely spacious room. totally worth it!
Stayed here a few times over the years and the service from the owner is superb,and one of the best breakfasts .
