Hotel LIVVO Valle Taurito & Aquapark

Very good price-quality ratio. Food was tasty, pool was nice and the free access to the aqua park a big bonus

The elevator - one was mostly broken, the other one very slow. With a baby cart we had no alternative from the last floor

Vi kunne sådan set lide det hele,🌞værelserne var pæne store og rene med dejlig udsigt. Det er første gang vi prøver all inclusive, det blev styret professionelt, og maden var ok efter konceptet.

Vi synes generelt der trænger til opdatering/ istandsættelse, det virker en smule slidt, hotel spa og udenoms minigolf osv. var dog lidt skuffede over at man holdt vand banerne lukket , undtaget 3, (det var dog dejligt at de var åbnet) trods det at vejret jo var fint i dalen der🌞

We stayed at this hotel from March 4 to March 8, and overall it fully deserves its 4 stars. The food was excellent — everything was delicious with the all-inclusive system, and you can always have something to eat by the pool, which is very convenient. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, and the beds are comfortable. We stayed as two moms with two children. Our room had two single beds and a sofa bed. The single beds tended to move apart, which was a bit inconvenient, but the sofa bed was actually very comfortable, especially for a mom with a child. The pool is nice, but it is not heated — it warms up from the sun and is moderately warm. When it was windy, it felt cold, and we had to take the kids out of the water. The beach and coastline are absolutely beautiful — stunning views, mountains, and a very relaxing atmosphere. There is also an aquapark right across the hotel, but we didn’t go because the water was quite cold. We would also like to highlight the reception staff — they were very friendly, polite, and understanding. Our children were sometimes quite noisy, but the staff treated us with patience and kindness, which we really appreciated. Compared to another hotel we stayed at before, where the attitude was less welcoming, here it truly felt child-friendly. Another great detail is that near the reception there is always drinking water available from a dispenser, as well as fresh fruit and sometimes small sweets. You can take fruit or get orange juice for the kids at any time of the day or night, which is very convenient. Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed our time here.

We would also like to mention the animation team — they were great and created a fun, lively atmosphere by the pool with games and activities throughout the day. We even took part in one of the contests and won a one-day spa pass

The cleaning was good and our cleaning lady was really lovely. The majority of staff (but not all) was nice and friendly. The receptionists tried to fix our issues and gave honest replies. The pool area was decent, with sunbeds always available, which is a big plus. Having free access to the Aquapark is probably nice when travelling with kids. The room was a good size with a good balcony and nice view. The bay of Taurito is very protected, so we had good weather despite it storming on the rest of the island.

For a 4 star hotel, the quality was very low. A lot of things cost extra and there was a lack of information at check-in. Unfortunately, Hotel Valle had the worst food we have encountered. Food was repetitive, often cold and didn't get refilled. One of us got bad food poisoning, ruining several days of the holiday. Especially the vegetarian/vegan options were abysmal some meals (rice, bread and raw/cold vegetables), despite vegetarian and vegan options being advertised as available upon request when booking. The drinking water in the restaurant and bar tasted bad as it was only desalinated water. A 1,5 liter bottle of water was in the mini fridge upon arrival, otherwise you had to buy your own. Drinks and food were only available at certain times (eg. no coffee before breakfast if you are an early riser). No kettle in the room. Restaurant and bar were loud. When leaving early morning, before breakfast on check-out day, you had to pay 6 € / person for a breakfast bag. The corridor just outside our room smelled of sewage most days, only when the cleaners had just been there did it smell okay. In the evenings it was often worse. One evening the smell was putrid, a sulfur-like smell, which was also in our room (could not be aired out, and the receptionist had no available rooms). We had to sleep on the balcony that night. Bathtub was leaking and bad ventilation in bathroom. The drinks/wine didn't taste very good and at the bar were always served in plastic glasses and paper mugs. Very wasteful and cheap feeling. Pool towels are not included. Paying a deposit (10 € / towel) could be okay, but having to pay 1 € per change of towel just feels cheap. We paid 8 € in total during our stay, which is not a lot, but still gives a negative impression. Not much to do in the area, have to take bus to go for walks etc. Elevators often broken/full. Wi-Fi came and went.
