Sand Sea Resort

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay for 4 nights at a Poolside Bungalow, right outside 1 of the 3 beautiful pools. Although our bungalow was older it was convenient, clean and comfortable with the best location. From the moment we arrived staff were so friendly and accomodating. We had an issue with the air conditioner and they attended to this at lightning speed. The breakfast was great and of course with amazing beach views. Sand and Sea would suit all, couples young and old, friend groups and families. Could not fault apart from not staying longer!

Property under repair construction in various areas and garbage on beach due to rainy season. Beautiful anyway. Wonderful staff compensates. Will return many times.

The staff in the hotel are incredibly kind and helpful, special mention to bellboys which also have a great sense of humour :-) The only thing we didn't like at all is the barge and towing boat at the beach which totally destroys the charm of the place.

The first thing a tourist needs to know about the peculiarity of the Krabi area in order to choose the best hotel is that during low tide the seabed is sometimes exposed 100 meters from the shore. Because of this feature, the Sand Sea Resort is perhaps the best choice in the Krabi area (just explore on Internet the pictures of the sea line of other hotels during the tide). Staying there allows you to see a picturesque sunrise (east coast) and an even more picturesque sunset (west coast) during the day, as well as beautiful beaches on the west coast. Other advantages of this hotel are large comfortable rooms with a balcony, a decent breakfast right on, literally, the seashore, a very green hotel territory - a real delight for lovers of nature and namely fauna (you can see many beautiful trees, dusky leaf monkeys, hornbills, water monitors and others). The staff at reception and on site were extremely friendly and helpful. Important tip: to the hotel grounds at Railay Beach and from there you can only get by taxi-motorboat - and if it's a random boat, and not booked through the hotel, it will drop you off and take you back right into the water near the shore, so you need to think about the water safety of your suitcases, clothes and shoes. Would I stay in this hotel while visiting Krabi, Thailand? Definitely, yes!

Old resort, but still charming. Monkeys had shows I could follow from terrace…Friendly staff, specially Elle🙏🏾…breakfast not so good, small pool and bad gym…it was a lot of noice from renovating the resort first day, and I got a free upgrade to a nice bungalow…very nice. Unstable WiFi….location is great. I stayed here 9 days. Thanks, see you again some time

This is a pretty nice property right on Railay Beach. So the location is great! It's definitely not the nicest resort I've ever stayed at but overall still worth it especially for the price I paid. The staff was amazing - always helpful, kind, and personable. I wish I would've used the pool area next to the beach and the restaurant because it looked nice.

Great place, our room was a little dated but they are renovating. Hot water in the shower was spotty.

Amazing location. Wholesome and good for families. Our room was perfect, cleaned every day, breakfast by the beach every day was beautiful. Close to nearby shops, but away from the drinking party atmosphere. We will be back. Highly recommend!
