Kiree Thara Boutique Resort

The place was obviously popular once but hasn't been looked after and is now forgotton by the owners It's full of old furniture that should have been thrown away and walking through reception the smell of mould was strong. My guess is that it was left during COVID and has never recovered. The staff espcially the cleaning and restaurant staff tried really hard to make me feel comfortable but it was largely empty and it felt sad and lonely. I had paid in advance and left a day early. I asked for a refund for the final day but was refused.

Unreasonable use of privacy and views, noisy air conditioning .

This was my first trip to Thailand and the Kiree Thara Boutique Resort was the perfect place to land. It is situated in peaceful surroundings, the gardens are calming and beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the staff were generous and hospitable. It’s a short ride from the city (easily accessible via the Grab app) and far away enough to experience the tranquility of the hills in Chiang Mai. Great food and service. I highly recommend staying here.

Kiree Thara is a beautiful, and small well-built resort that is away from the city centre yet near enough if you have transport. It is about 8 km from the city. Our group of 7 stayed for 10 days and another joined us for 5. The highlight of staying there is the Saturday farmers market at Nana's Jungle, which is a small residential enclave just 5 minutes walking distance. People from all over Chiangmai go there for the freshly baked bread and free coffee. It is absolutely charming for city folks to spend a morning there as local handicrafts, nice food, soft live music and fresh produce abound. Back to the resort. You wake up to a view of Doi Suthep (executive suites, rooms 303 and 403 side) and cockerels crowing. Its gardens are very well-maintained as is the pool. The staff are generally helpful though not many speak English. We have stayed there many times and this trip was after a hiatus of 4 years due to the pandemic. It would have been nice if the resort keeps a record of their guests' preference, especially repeat long staying guests. Perhaps it was too much to ask, for instance, to ensure there are more hangers instead of just 2-3 in the wardrobe. No extras were given until I spoke to the boss personally. Extra tissue boxes for the toilet/counter area would have been nice but these were not forthcoming. probably because they did not have enough of the wooden boxes to put the loose tissue in. A small microwave oven to heat up food in the bar/kitchenette area would be perfect since there is no room service. You get 2 bottles of water daily. Breakfast selection is rather limited although I believe the food in their cafe is good. The resort is aging but it is okay if you like a countryside feel where things are rough around the edges. Wifi is slow and needs improvement but if you are on holiday, who cares?! I think the price per night is not cheap by Chiangmai standards, so they should level up with more attention to detail, for instance checking that everything works before they check in guests. My shower rose was jammed but it was resolved rather quickly, thanks to the boss who bore the brunt of my complaints. And yes, a small vase of fresh flowers in the room to calm my nerves is a nice touch. Thank you, Bob! Wish you all the best for your resort.

is far from the city...but about 10 mins walking distance to the Chiang Mai Convention & Exhibition Centre.. the room is big, provided with free toiletries...very quiet during night time.. Restaurant and bar is just adjacent to the building..

Excellent place to stay in a quiet neighborhood with a amazing a la carte menu. Quick taxi to downtown allows for relaxing stay. Very nice staff, the manager is very accommodating.

At first we wanted to cancel the room because it was too far from the city center but the staff said it was not refundable and offered to upgrade our room so we decided to stay. When we came back to the room at night, we discovered ants in and around our baggage. The front desk then moved us to a new room. There was a huge cockroach in the bathroom! Each time we tried to talk to the front desk and the manager was never available. They refused to give us a refund. We ended up leaving the next day. The only good part of this stay was the free breakfast and how the staff was so kind. I hope they get their bug issue under control.

Kiree Thara Boutique Resort is a beautiful little resort nestled in the forest on the edge of Chiang Mai City, with lovely suites, rooms, and a pool. The restaurant is exquisite, offering delicious international and traditional Thai dishes. The staff is welcomingn warm, and friendly, paying particular attention to details to ensure that all guests feel comfortable and relaxed. It is a fair distance from the city centre, so requires either a taxi or songthaew ride to get there. Nonetheless, Kiree Thara Boutique Resort's location does have its clear perks: quiet nights and peaceful days. The Kiree Thara Boutique Resort is as relaxing as any other, with a fitness studio and swimming pool, and various massage offers.There is also a bike rental service for those keen on exploring the area by bike. The resort is an ideal place to stay while visiting the Chiang Mai International Convention Center (which is itself a marvellous work of architecture) and is only some 10-20 minutes from the city's international airport. All rooms are air conditioned and have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

조용하고 정원 관리가 잘 된 호텔입니다. 우린 치앙마이 체류일정이 길고, 렌트카를 이용해서 옮겨다니는 중에 2박 있었는데, 가격대비 만족합니다. 비수기라 그런지, 시내와 거리가 있어서인지, 손님이 없었어요. 조식 괜찮았어요. 주문한스크램블 에그를 오믈렛으로 가져다주셨지만.. 중식도 한번했었는데, 스테이크와 시저 샐러드 정말 정말 맛있었어요. 근데 고기를 웰던으로 주문했는데, 미디엄으로 해오셨어요. 휴양을 위한 목적이면 강력 추천해요.

The hotel is beautiful & serene but the rooms are old & a lot of stuffs in the rooms are not working properly. The shuttle service was great as they used very new & 7 seaters car. Service was great & the staffs there are all very helpful. One minus point is the place are not so wheelchair friendly.
