Das Parken ist zu teuer und es war nicht ausdrücklich bei der Buchung aufgeführt.

Einrichtung veraltest, Staub in Lampen und auf den Tabletts, die zur Darbietung von Snacks und Getränke dienen sollten. Mitarbeiterinnen die offensichtlich nicht die Lage der Zimmer kannten.

Die Ausstattung war durchschnittlich. Ein Bett quietschte und es gab trotz Vorgabe kein Doppelbett mit einer Matratze!

Staff was at times very unprofessional. We waited hours for our drinks and food, even though there were only a handful of guests at the bar/restaurant. Some of the staff seemed very inexperienced and one even private made prive phone calls while working.

Ich musste feststellen, dass es dieselbe Adresse im Umkreis nochmals gibt. Bei einem Telefonat mit dem Hotel konnte ich mich nicht verständlich machen, so dass ich dann nach einem Kollegen bat, der verständliches Deutsch sprach. Der neue Kollege hat mir netterweise den korrekten Standort zukommen lassen. Angekommen bekam ich nach 5,5h Fahrt den süffisanten Hinweis, man möge eben vorher nicht nur Hilden, sondern auch die PLZ im Navi eintragen. Das Frühstück mit 30 € pro Person finde ich zuviel, wenn man nur Kaffee und ein Brötchen haben möchte. Wir haben drauf verzichtet. Das Zimmer war sehr warm, weil DG aber okay.

Moderner Empfang, freundliches Personal, sehr schöner Bar und Restaurantbereich. Zimmer etwas altbacken aber super sauber, neue sehr gute Matratzen. Hotelparkplatz in der Innenstadt leider gegen gebühr, alternativlos und recht teuer. Gutes Hotel mit netten Service, man ist fußläufig in der City.

Stayed for 2 nights at this 4 star hotel in the middle of Hilden close to the shopping street and about 15 min walk from the station. The lobby, restaurant/breakfast room was recently renovated because of a serious flooding a couple of years ago. They did a good job, the interior in this part of the hotel has been updated with a very contemporary feel to it. We booked a standard room, however the heating was not working properly and we got upgraded immediately which was very much appreciated. The rooms, looked a little bit dated, but were to my delight utterly spotless. The bathrooms especially the shower trays and doors were immaculate, although some water was leaking onto the bathroom floor when using the shower. The housekeeping department is doing a good job for sure. I was pleased to see soap dispensers installed rather than having all those little customary bottles with soap and gel, saving on plastic. Good forward environmental thinking. Because the floor covering was carpet rather than tiles or laminate I would have liked some of those hotel slippers that are customary in most hotels these days. Also as a 4 star I would expect an iron and board in the room for convenience. The breakfast offerings are the usual fare and I was pleased to see milk alternatives available. The breakfast room was quite busy and you could do with an extra member of staff looking after the buffet to replenish it in time. All in all I very much enjoyed my stay here. I think that the room rate charged is very fair and honest but thought that the prize for the breakfast per person maybe at 17 Euros is a bit steep. However, I wholeheartedly can recommend this hotel.
