Corbie Geel

The hotel was disappointing. The bathroom wall consistented of mostly clear glass which anyone in the bedroom area could clearly see through into the bathroom. There was no lobby area available or lounge/bar area. The car parking was extremely limited and parking was an issue. The hotel staff was courteous and tried to be helpful, but the facility limited their helpfulness. The breakfast was very limited in the selection of food items offered.

... here is a nice boutique hotel ... right in the heart of Geel..all is within walking distance. The rooms are clean and well equipped. There is air conditioning, TV and good WIFI ... There is ample parking available ... the breakfast is delicious ... but a little unorganized ... the colors in the lounge and the hotel are refreshing ... and the staff always very friendly .. Thank you for several good stays ....

Standard chain hotel, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. The rooms are quieter away from the square, but overall the hotel is quiet. All rooms have airco but it is too noisy to leave it on all night. The location is great - through a small passage and you are on the main square with loads of great bars and reataurants.

Excellent service. Went the extra mile for guests - would highly recommend. Great position in a town which is not the most sccessible

Located in the centre of Geel, when you walk out of the Hotel you are directly onto the main square where you have a variety of restaurants and an Irish bar. Hotel itself is very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is superb, great variety to suit all tastes. Looking forward to returning.

Modern and minimalist right in the centre of Geel. Parking available at a charge Friendly staff, good breakfast with wide choice. A nice extra is the orange juice squeezing machine, to get the fresh juice on the spot. I love it ! Coffee machine anytime available to brew any kind of espresso, coffee cappuccino or latte. A wide selection of teas available too. No restaurant, but plenty of brasseries and other good places to go around the main square. the right adress to be in Geel town centre.

It is located of central of Geel, what you look you can easily reach it. It serves as enjoy breakfast you should try to drink fresh orange juice and breads. Rooms are very comfortable except next's voices. You might heard the voices from next door. If i come to Geel Corbie will stay one of the best choices for me.

Hotels in Belgium are a bit different especially in local towns. They are more like fancy B&B's very clean and tidy, generally no more than 30 rooms. Anyhow the Corbie is situated right in the middle of the the town. The rooms are spacious, modern, have air con and a 32" digital tv. There is wi-fi in the rooms and it a free service. The hotel offers an excellent buffet breakfast from 7am. There is no resident bar but that's no problem as the town square offers plenty of options. Car parking is free for residents, just ask at reception to validate your parking ticket.

I have stayed in this hotel minimum 7 times, during my business travels. The staff was always very nice, good breakfast is offered, and the rooms are clean. I love that all room has a balcony, and the reception /breakfast area is very colorful and stylishly decorated. The rooms are simple but great for a mainly "sleep and bath" purpose. TV, internet all working perfectly. Dozens of restaurants and bars are just around 2-5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Nice location on the square in Geel. Modernistic (i.e. concrete floors and counters, somewhat garish color choices to my taste) and reasonably comfortable rooms and furnishing. Room was good sized, and had a nice balcony. Breakfast was fine - not great/not poor for a hotel breakfast. Good selection of foods laid out. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was a little odd, but again it's a relatively modern hotel in modernistic style so don't expect old European charm. I'd say best assets are room size and location.
