Staff were pleasant and helpful, lovely large bath.

The house was nice but it was a converted four story Edwardian building with no lift. We were on the top floor up a final very steep and narrow flight of stairs. We are both in our sixties, had we known about this we would not have booked. (Not mentioned in the description).

It is always a pleasure to stay at Hastings House. Everything exceeds expectations

The lighting. The dimmer switch didn’t seem to work so it was too bright in the evening and one of the two bedside lamps didn’t work so couldn’t read before bed.
