Hastings House 9-Bedroom Holiday House

We had room 5 and couldn’t have asked for a nicer room. Beautifully appointed and spacious with a wonderful view over the sea and Warrior Place. Breakfast was served in a lovely dining room and was delicious. Bev and here team were great hosts. A great stay.

Host stayed in touch to make sure I could enter after hours. Lots of useful facilities - tv, roberts radio, video player etc. Very good lighting. Lots of mirrors for make up and visibility. Comfortable bed, crisp, clean bed linen. Heater if you needed it and tea making facilities Fantastic breakfast and attentive staff.

Biggest problem was that the box marked 'shower cap' was empty and there was no provision of shampoo - I had to use the rubbish bag to put over my head to keep my hair dry as I couldnt wash it. I was attending an important lunch so this was a bit upsetting. The room was much smaller than I expected - you could only walk around the bed and I had difficulty to find somewhere to put my suitcase .

The bathroom and bed were clean, but the bedside tables were dusty enough to write your name on. The place gave a messy impression upon arrival. Disappointing.

There is no parking and we got a £25 fine
