"Great experience!"

The joy of staying in a castle, magical! Our room in the castle itself was a feature room and well worth the extra. The staff were lovely and Ms Poppet (the castle cat) 🐈‍⬛ was special and made it feel very homely.

The food, both dinner and breakfast was not hot.

Location, staff couldnt do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent, library bar very good sandwiches were very good.

The bed was too soft but this is a personal preference.

Beautiful setting, amazing historic building, a huge room with a big and comfortable bed, excellent food and wine, really lovely staff, and a great breakfast.

There was nothing to dislike.

"Lovely & we will be back"

The castle is superb and the surrounding grounds are great for walking with the kids. The staff were great especially with our baby & accommodated us sitting in the central courtyard for evening meal.

The food menu for the restaurant for main meals wasn’t much that we’d like. But the bar had a good range too.
