Cliftonville Hotel

Our room was at the very top of the hotel with the most amazing views out to sea. Some courtesy binoculars were included to give an even better view. This was clearly an upgrade from what we had booked but a lovely surprise.

Nothing really. all in all a very nice break.

Breakfast was very good although a little pricy. Staff were excellent, friendly and polite. Location was good, not far from the town and the railway station.

The room we were allocated was very small and quite hot. Not all the rooms were small as other members of our party had much larger rooms.

Very good staff. Room size ok. Breakfast is sized well, not massive but enough. Meals also good quality.

Shower v.poor, bath very small.

Fab location for the beach, opposite the front of the hotel and down the slopes - great for our dog.. A fab welcome from the young lady on reception. A 'cosy' room that was clean and well equipped with a lovely sea view. Comfy bed, huge fluffy towels and nice selection of tea/coffee etc. Great bar and amazing seafood platter. A lovely dog hamper, bed,towel and bowl! Beautiful historic features and decor with a modern twist.

Generally staff were all fantastic, made us feel welcome and were very helpful. there was one member of staff who seemed ill suited to hospitality, came across as grumpy and rude.

Staff were excellent. Food very good.
