My first bad experience. Massive spider overhanging balcony; shared balcony with wasp nest, no hot water for 2 days, air conditioning unit so noisy that could not sleep with it on, when management finally did something it was turned off with no warning and no fan to replace it to keep the room cool; bath plug falty and water drains out while in it; spa comes on by itself if not turned off at the mains, slime and scum around bathtub, rubbish and empty bottles not removed from room during cleaning; half used complimentary shampoos etc. provided; our one meal at the restaurant was inedible; tableclothes badled wrinkled as is the bedlinen which had stains, towels like sandpaper. Strain on car engine to get up the steep hills and long walk to village. When raising just a few of the issues experienced on the second day and requesting a transfer there was no response from management for 4 days, that response was only forthcoming when I ran into management/ower on 2nd last day of stay so approached them to raise the issues again. This was met with nothing but abuse from the owner/manager for complaining and refusal to hear about any problems we were experiencing or deal with them. The owner even rang our employer in London to complain about us complaining. Very bizare and the most atrocious treatment I have ever experienced within the hospitality industry.

Poor signage, poor car parking, lift not working, need to be a mountain goat to reach room

Really great hotel with superb views. Very lucky to be situated next to fabulous restaurant 'paradise beach'. And short walk into town. Only grumble is the number of steps which was fine for us but may horrify others. Elevators were being installed though to ease that pain. Would return/recommend. We stayed in junior suite- I suspect a double room would've been more than adequate.

Its too expensive for what it offers. The rooms are too small and far away from the true life of the island. The people working there were not that kind with us and we asked for some details. To reach the rooms u have to "climb" a very big hill, thank god we had a jeep, i doubt if a normal car could make it till the rooms. Im dissapointed..

The view is spectacular. The front desk staff are amazing. It is unfortunate that the hotel is still not fully completed. No elevator service, wires still hanging in the rooms. Only offered 2 very small bars of soap. After a very long flight I arrived in Kefalonia at 6:00am. We arrived at the hotel and had to sit by the pool until 2:30 in the afternoon. The hotel could have arranged a courtisy suite for us to change and start our vacation. I believe this is were they are lacking. For a high star rating they need to follow through on the small details. Over all I would stay there again. The views and the local beaches made up for any disappointments.

Very attractive hotel. Beautiful views. Handy for town and tavernas. Varied choice at buffet breakfast. Large pool, very clean virtually pristine condition. The only slight down point is that the hotel is on a very steep hill which could cause problems for some guests (although a lift was under construction whilst we were staying)

Breathtaking view and location, in a relatively quiet area, away from the crowds but not isolated. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs though
