Hotel Chatelet Inn Kyoto

It was a great room for a big family or group. 10 adults can sleep without moving dining table. The facilities looks a bit old, but clean enough to stay in comfortable.

Very nice stay, excellent ambience. We felt well. Only those futons may be much thicker - we often slept like on tatami mattes only. 😀

central location

the osan is a disgrace! cracked tiles, mould, outdated

If you want an old old style, real Japanese experience with a lovely tatanmi room with easy access to central Kyoto, then it's great. We loved it. Very little English spoken (not a problem for us), and could be difficult to find if you don't arrive by taxi, but we really enjoyed our stay.

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Incredible value for money given the location and facilities. The public bath was a nice touch and the service was really nice.

The elevator went out a few times during our stay. They fixed it pretty quickly though, so not much to complain about.

Everything, staff are so helpful, comfortable bed, room is clean, close to most attractions and station

The location is very good. There is a bath at the 1st floor, very convenient.

If your staff don’t want to clean my cups and mugs, please just let them where they are. No need to put your tissue into my cups to pretend to clean.

A localização é boa, a 5min do metrô. Excelente para ir a pé ao Palácio Imperial e Castelo Nijo. Hotel antigo, porém bem conservado, confortável, mais intimista que esses de rede de hotéis. Tem o banho público, lavanderia, que torna tudo mais prático e agradável. Sem café da manhã. A recepção fica no 1⁰ andar, sem acesso por elevador. Pode ser um problema para quem tem muitas malas. Pudemos deixar as malas antes e depois do check-in sem problemas. Equipe atenciosa.
