University Hotel & Suites Shippensburg, Trademark by Wyndham

Location was very good and we liked the restaurant.

Restaurant was out of some of the items we wanted to order.

Location, free parking and price.

Desk staff could have been friendlier but they handled the check in and check out as needed.

The food was really very good! The staff was overall very friendly. They tried to be accommodating and helpful.

The hotel has some obvious plumbing issues (tub would not drain). Our first room had a bathroom shower with hair all over it. We asked for it to be cleaned, and the staff gave us another room. That room was better, but the tub still had two hairs on it despite the front desk person saying she had personally inspected it. Perhaps she needs glasses, but at any rate, when my husband took a shower, it did not drain and I could not take a shower with 6 inches of standing water in the shower. Yuck. Carpets are really old and stained. There is a lack of staff in the hotel and that is really too bad. We ate in the restaurant and had to wait and wait for our meals and drinks. The bill overcharged us, and we asked to have it fixed, which they did. The bartender was obnoxious and talked disparagingly about the guests to other guests at the bar. Very poor form.
