Pullman Brisbane King George Square

Check in was slow but purely because everyone must have been checking in at the same time. Everything else was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Buffet breakfast was good.

Just returned from an overnight stay. Deluxe Room. Booked 2 rooms interconnecting on 10th floor. Got a great deal for 2 rooms with breakfast( very good breakfast and variety) through Accor Group member. Very comfy bed and pillows. Clean. Aircon wasn't working as per set temperature but the room temperature was still good for us. Great bathroom toiletries. Room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This hotel is in a perfect location. Short walks to river ferry, shopping and gorgeous gardens. Public transport at your doorstep. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Rooftop bar and restaurant closed ( advertised as Open 2 out of 3 nights stayed room not serviced- poorly managed

Room air conditioning was poor and did not sufficiently cool the room. No working air conditioning in the gym.

Our encounter with the staff especially the concierge and cleaning team was exceptional. Recommend as a choice for a business trip.

The place was and room was great. Disappointed that I paid $50 a night for secure parking and one night the car was left outside at the front of the hotel near the footpath that is not secure parking. very disappointed

The property needs renovation specially the bathrooms. The bathroom ceilings had a lot of mould and paint pealing. It wasn’t pleasant to shower. Valet parking staff should be available at all times and working to at least 12am. Came back one night and I had to park my own car as there were no staff to assist. Outside pool deck requires maintenance the pool was cloudy and drains were blocked. Other than the above it was a nice hotel to stay, conveniently located, quite and a lovely breakfast buffet.

OK hotel but tired. Convenient location for some things. Left our bags with concierge to be bought to room but after an hour we collected them ourselves - and no-one even challenged us taking the bags. Bed good. Tried to call room service - no answer. Called front desk - no answer. Went to front desk to arrange a bucket of ice which was ordered but I was told I should have used the scan code on the tv ! I don’t turn on tv’s how would I know and the room service number if listed on the phone. Went back to room to check the scan code - yep it works but couldn’t order ice anyway - sigh ! Bathroom has moldy ceilings. Sister’s room had no seating except for a taped together desk chair. Windows are very dirty. At over $230 per night I expect better.

Hard to understand why this is a 5 star hotel. On plus side room was clean and relatively comfortable. Negatives were no modern amenities. (eg no coffee machine just instant coffee), no coat hangers in the room, an ironing board with a lean/bent leg (had to stabilise with one arm while iron), and dated bathroom. Outdoor pool nice idea (just 15 meters). I didn't try the food so cannot comment on that.
