The Wishingwell

It's a 3 star hotel with 5 star friendliness and service. The furniture is functional but not fresh anymore (e.g. veneer broken or missing).

Dirty and unhygienic.poor service and horrible food.I was up all night being sick. Never stay there again.

Positives: spacious room. Helpful reception. Ample parking. Negatives: Bedsheet torn. Carpets not clean. Toilet roll holder coming off the wall. separate taps with hot and cold water in basin not convenient. Floor creaking. Not value for money.

Our stay was a pleasant experience. Friendly staff and clean room.

Great location, picked the Wishing Well as close to where I was working. Very friendly and helpful staff from reception to bar staff will be staying again

Our room (No 1) was a standard room advertised with air conditioning/climate control, wifi and a hair dryer. It had none of these and only 1 pillow on one of the beds although this was quickly rectified by the helpful receptionist. Fortunately it wasnot as hot as it has been of late. Although not their fault we also had no phone signal at all on 2 different networks. A good value hotel, somewhere to break a journet not a destination in itself.

The furnishings and carpets were old and tired. The wardrobe was inadequate, all of my dresses were trailing on the floor because the rail was so low. The tv remote didn't work either
