I really enjoyed my stay and loved the building. The breakfast was cooked fresh and was really nice. Owners are a nice couple, who are willing to accommodate. My late check out was no problem. My only issue was the hot water/shower. Because it’s an old building, there’s a knack to getting the shower to run hot and a knack for the hot tap for a bath too! Luckily I learned on the first night of my stay! If you don’t know, both just run very cold!

Perfect stay. Close to the top of Perth Road, very clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and cooked to order. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Had a lovely one night stay. Room was very spacious and came equipped with all that I needed. Bed was very comfy and never experienced any disturbance from fellow guests. Barely heard any noise so it was a surprise to see so many folk the next morning at breakfast. Owners were so lovely and welcoming and nothing was ever too much hassle. Only minor downsides to this place is it is slightly outdated decor wise and there was single glazed windows in my room which made the room slightly cold but that is expected in an aged property. Otherwise no complaints and will gladly stay again.

The Scottish breakfast was a feast and was a great start to the day. Good price, considering what other hotels charge, for what is ultimately a bed for the night. Maybe slightly dated, but hospitable, and owner very personable and helpful.

Really pleased with my nights stay - staff very friendly and helpful - got an upgrade and the room was clean comfortable and spacious Very quiet too - only at breakfast did I realise there were quite a few other folk staying - breakfast was awesome - cooked perfectly and quick service. Nothing negative really - would stay again
