"Excellent very relaxing and enjoyable"

It was very clean and tidy. It had everything you needed to have a great stay. The dog loved the beach and walks. It was a home away from home. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. I will be booking to stay there again. Definitely a 5 star resort

"Lovely Guest House"

Very friendly warm welcome from the host. Great location for central Southampton, theatre and university. Simple small room, but was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Shower right next to our room. Would definitely stay again.

The owner was absolutely wonderful, we were visiting the university for an open day and the location was perfect, walking distance from shops and bars, breakfast was lovely, if my daughter decides to go to this uni I will always stay here to visit her, perfect thank you for making us so welcome

Abbey lodge is situated in a walking distance from Southampton and the railway station and ferry terminal were close by

"Excellently priced, very convenient"

Abbey Lodge is exactly as described: a clean, centrally located guest house with comfortable rooms and spotless shared hall bathrooms (though we did not have to share) and a light breakfast. Friendly and helpful host.

I was very happy, but if I HAD to add something here, well, I am gluten free so possibly another option for me.
