"This was like guest houses used to be f60 years ago. Must try harder!"

Guest house was "No Vacancies" In fact it had only a couple of other guests. We had booked a basic twin room ("the last room"); hostesses did not offer us an ensuite twin room. In out room, there was only a washbasin, with NO HOT WATER. At breakfast, all tables were fully laid, despite the place being empty; no room to spread. Hostess brought toast first! When will they learn?! There was no guest lounge. I wish I'd stayed at the Premier Inn round the corner.

Room was cold, no hot water, small beds, no ensuite. No guest lounge. Rooms were (once) nice big rooms divided up with stud partitions. However, parking facilities and cleanliness were good
