Abbey Lodge Guest House

Stayed there before a cruise trip. Easy to find with satnav. Exactly what you need for one night, owner was lovely - let us store our heavy bags in a downstairs room, booked us a taxi to take us to the terminal the next morning. Place was spotless and breakfast was lovely.

Not en suite but I knew that when booking but if that is something you care about just be aware that most of the rooms and not ensuite

Very quaint little B&B. The hostess was very accommodating and everything was clean. Good price and excellent location only a short taxi to cruise ship terminal.

Small rooms with too thick duvet which was the only cover on the beds. Breakfast was continental with only instant coffee.

The shower was impossible to regulate warm. There was mould on the net curtains and fixtures and fittings were very tired.

On arrival the lady was so polite and helpful explaining everything to us. Telling us how close things were from the guest house. She couldn't do enough for us, Honestly her manners were impeccable and the breakfast was lovely. I will definitely come back to Abbey Lodge Guest house. And I would reckon mend it to everyone and stay there. Thank you very much for your kindness and politeness on our stay with you. Absolutely amazing lady ♥️

I honestly can't write anything because we liked everything about the place.

Great location. Very welcoming and helpful host. Bathrooms clean. Great value for money.

It was a little noisy as the room was at the front. It would have been nice to have the option of something warm for breakfast eg eggs.

The bed is too soft
