Bellstar Suites at Solara Resort

The condo space was lovely and clean. It was our favourite part of the Solara.

The parking was absolutely horrible. The parkade was always full, and cars that didn’t belong to Solara guests would park there. Given each parking level was associated with each building and elevator access, we spent so much time hauling luggage and bags walking through the different levels of the parkade to get to our elevator building. The most ridiculous part? One elevator per building access from the parkade. We waited 20 minutes on the day of my daughter’s wedding because there were folks with massive amounts of bags and family members waiting in line for ONE ELEVATOR. NEVER AGAIN. This issue was so bad and inconvenient that the cost of the accommodation was way too high to have such a ridiculous access issue. I do not recommend this place for this very reason. We found nicer properties with easier access for the same money. We travel to Canmore regularly.

Mountain view was awesome and the actual property was great. However, they were supposed to give us out check in code at 4pm-which we were there for then they didn't, I tried messaging (they completely ghosted me) and tried calling the number but the mail box was full. They gave the code 20 minutes late (those 20 minutes were spent worrying that we had some how been scammed) and then would not answer me about a late checkout-after all they owed me 20 minutes.

Do not like the digital check-in. Software unreliable.

Could not change temperature it was set to high and could not sleep properly.

Check-in and maintenance issues with the unit. There is no front desk staff so all issues require calling and being on hold several minutes and having to call back several times trying to get issues resolved. Would not stay here again.
