Yawatano Onsenkyo Morinoyu Kiranosato

The atmosphere was peaceful, staff very pleasant. We potentially should have stayed a second night so we could do a bit of exploring around the area. They were very accommodating of my food allergies at breakfast, which we chose to add as part of our stay. Catching the courtesy shuttle bus from the Ito train station needs some communicating with staff. We ended up catching a taxi which only cost 940Y but shuttle bus could have been available to us.

There wasn't anything not to like.

Immersa nella natura, molto curata, anche se ha qualche decennio. Tutto molto curato. Staff accogliente e molto cortese. Hanno risolto ogni nostra richiesta. I pasti erano favolosi. I bagni molto Belli e pulitissimi. Assolutamente da consigliare.

有點像小型社區，有簡單吃食、飲料，有古早的小玩具，酒店內部在山上，可以簡單走走，大浴場讚。早餐+晚餐豐富好味😋

Le Ryokan traditionnel, les paysages, la forêt (nous avons vu des écureuils) et l'eau. La nourriture très typique même si c'était un peu difficile d'accès pour nos goûts européens.

Staff is very nice, the property provides complimentary beverages, snacks and games. The hot spring is awesome.

It is a little far from transportation stops and you need to walk uphill/downhill. Because there are a lot of trees, you would see some insects, we saw a roach once, the property prepared tools and sprays in advance.

There weren't many people there when we were there, I had the whole public bath all to myself at one point. The public bath was quite a good size, 2 indoor, 2 outdoor, sauna room, a room with reclining style personal soaking options, and a couple small baths. Clean, well maintained. At night, it was beautiful. The three private baths were all really nice too. Small but nice. First come first serve. No reservation needed. The Japanese traditional room we had was spacious. You can tell the place is old, but well cleaned, and cared for. Beware of bugs tho, I got bitten by a centipede in the middle of the night while sleeping, woke up and saw a centipede in the bed. Dinner and breakfast were all excellent, even my picky-eater children ate almost everything. Overall, everything met my expectations, the train ride there from Tokyo was very scenic, stunning coastal view. Definitely recommend.

The staff(or so called the villagers) are so nice and treat non-Japanese speakers so well. And there are some activities there you can explore by yourself, it's a fun and pleasant experience. Will definitely go there again.
