風景､温泉の数が多くゆっくり入れた。また露天風呂の景色も良かった。 焼き芋やラーメンなどのサービスは嬉しかった。 浴衣ではなくサムイが良かった お食事がどれも美味しかった

室内の空調が暑く調整出来なく､窓を開けて対応した。夜寝苦しかった。

This was an exceptional experience. All exceeded my expectations. We had a traditional japanese room with a private onsen. The room was immaculate and the onsen was quaint and peaceful. The breakfast and dinner were beyond words esthetically and taste. The public and private baths for guest use were beautiful and tranquil. There was a shuttle bus to pick you up from izu kogen station. It ran to and from the station every half hour. Knowing some japanese is helpful, but there's always Google translate.

Absolutely no complaints.

The onsen is great. The little sweet potato is good.

The room facilities are somehow too old.

The overall environment is very nice. The whole premise is quite large with plenty of spaces. Staff are mostly nice and friendly.

1) Me and my wife came with both our parents in their 70's. Due to room availability, we reserved 2 rooms with onsen for the 4 of them, and another room type for ourselves. We have to walk a full circle for 5 mins to their room, although our room is not that far from theirs, but there is a steep slop in-between. If there was a staircase then it would take only 1 min. 2) The rooms with onsen are on a 2nd floor of some nice wooden buildings, on top of a slope. We did not notice the slope and stairs when we book the rooms. My father had heart problems and had a difficult time walking up to the room. It would be great if it was mentioned in room descriptions and we would totally reserve another room type. 3) Given the slope and stairs, we were originally asked to bring our luggages to the rooms by ourselves. We insisted for help, and thanks for the staff they manage to help us move our luggages to the rooms. It would be better if they would offer help in the first place, not after we insisted. 4) They provide complimentary roasted sweet potato in the evening, which was nice. My parents were resting in their room, avoiding walking up and down, and so I was trying to bring some to them. Only to got stopped because it was not allowed to take them away. We wouldn't have to if we had booked a room where my parents can walk around easily. Thats a bit too rigid. 5) My and my wife went to use one of the private onsen. Only to find that there was no shower available in there. But you are required to shower before using the onsen. Means we have to go back down to the public bath, undressed, shower, got dressed, and walk back up to the onsen. Which is troublesome. We given up in the end. It should be well advertised that the private onsen does not have shower. Very bad expectation management. 6) It was a little bit difficult to communicate in English overall compare to other hotels we stayed in the Mount Fuji and surrounding region. It is probably more for local Japanese.
