It was a very.cold night on 4/15. Heating took hours to warm up the place,very cold for hours

Beautiful ryokan, amazing staff, great food

Lush and green location. Wonderful and helpful staff, who went above and beyond to meet our needs. Very traditional Japanese onsen experience. The public bath is very nice.

Everything is a bit worn and old, which has its charm, but don’t expect it to be fresh and clean. The private baths are a bit too minimal and don’t have a view or a shower. The food is good but for a longer stay a bit more variation would have been nice. The baths are closed during the day from 10 to 15, and during a rainy day there wasn’t much else to do around the area.

Second time in this great place. Great location, super onsen options (public, in room, private cabins). We had the kaiseki sea food shabu shabu dinner, which was excellent. Rooms give a very authentic old style feeling. I do think that a bit of brushing up, renovation, to make it a little more to modern standards of comfort, can be beneficial.

I liked the bathing facilities and the snacks in the evening.

Breakfast-The breakfast was OK. We had a better Japanese Breakfast at a Richmond hotel in Kyoto.

L'établissement est magnifique , style campagne que nous recherchions et le personnel merveilleux au petit soins avec nous en permanence. De plus la nourriture était merveilleusement bonne !!!! Je recommande fortement ! La seul recommendation que j'aurais saurait de changer les robinet pour l'eau thermal autrement rien.
