Lovely stay and friendly hosts

Pulling up outside this motel I was a little wary, looks old and run down but was pleasantly surprised by the room - renovated, lovely colour scheme, kitchenette with stove, elements, microwave. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Only downside, there were no windows, if you wanted fresh air you had to open the front door, which took away all privacy. A few days it was very stuffy when the temperature rose. There was a heater unit but no cool air conditioner setting. Wouldn't recommend for summer time but probably very cosy in winter. Internet provided, mostly ok but did drop out often and you had to sign in again. Be mindful, room service only operates until 11am so if you're a late riser, as me with a teenager, you'll get a knock on the door (no do not disturb signs) most mornings I just got fresh towels and got rid of rubbish, fine with me (found the housemaid very friendly)

It was a handy location. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay.

Motel half way airport to City & north. Good value for $. One or two nights stay ok. Free breakfast was good for us, but western tastes was wheat bit and juice, with tea and coffee in room.

Christchurch is a nice area, go to Taylor's Mistake beach and the botanical gardens area.

The motel was comfortable and clean. For eating in a nice restaurant, need to travel into city centre. Fast food eating just down the street

The owners were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. They provided a free cooked breakfast and free wifi which was very satisfactory. Northlands mall was a short distance away and although we drove it would have been a reasonable walk. The bus stop was very close. The shower had a reasonable pressure and the hairdryer was a decent one which actually had some power so that was a bonus. There was quite a bit of road noise, especially when we had the windows open, as we were in the front units however we closed the windows and it did not interfere with our sleep at all. We would stay there again..

It was quite comfortable, clean accommodation, handy to shops, and friendly staff.
