"I don't know what else they could improve!"

My stay at the JW Marriott in Pune is the finest hotel experience I've ever had. The hotel is beautiful and in perfect shape, the staff is abundant and incredibly attentive - from the desk to the restaurants to the room, the gym and the lounge. Everyone was friendly and happy to help. The rooms are very comfortable with a nice layout and an amazing rainfall shower. The gym is fully equipped and was never crowded. The pool is perfect for lap swimming in the morning as it's about 25 yards long. The breakfast buffet is amazing, I over ate every single day. And last but not least, the business center in the lounge on floor 23 includes meeting rooms that you can book at no extra charge. I wish every hotel stay was just like this one.

I wanted to check this one out in Pune and it did not disappoint me at all. I should it was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Just one thing which I'd say could improve is personal attention to each guest (comparing to Vivanta - they were absolutely out of the world in their guest attention and individual hospitality). I know there are huge number of guests, and there is always people coming for cafe and restaurants who are not staying with JW, but something creative for in-stay guest can go a long way. But JW would always JW. Great job.

"Double payment and still not solved"

I have been charged at my arrival for more than the full amount of my total stay. I used my debit card as that would be the card I would use to pay my stay and reflected my concerns that, unlike a Visa card, the amount is immediately charged to my bank account. When I checked out, again I explained that they have charged me already but the inexperienced Duty Manager didn’t understood what I was telling about. So as a consequence the hotel charged me again for the full amount of the stay. I phoned them and they are (and still are after one week) trying to solve the issue with their bank. The hotel should have immediately solved my problem, but they are still struggling with their bank and not solving the issue. This only offsets any good impression I could have from the hotel....
