Dial House Hotel

Lovely welcome to this hotel, very clean well appointed room with a very comfortable sleep, ample parking and a friendly farewell upon our departure.

Chose the Dial as location was excellent as visiting family close by . We received a warm welcome , room was very clean and offered everything we required for an over night stay . Would stay again if in the area. Than you

Overall, the hotel did not present as very clean.

My colleague for whom the booking was made, reported that the original room she was allocated smelled and the bed looked as though it had been slept in without the sheets having been changed. In the end, after complaining, she was moved to a twin room

The welcome, the location, the price

It's a little tired in the decor department, but it's clean and welcoming.

Convenient location for my activity. Good parking facilities and very pleasant and helpful staff.

The place is looking a bit dated inside and could do with a refresh of fittings and furnishings. The shower head needs a good clean and the toilet didn't have an appropriately fitting seat.

Stayed here on business as i was in the area and this was the only hotel close. Made the wrong choice here as the room i stated in is very dated and dirty. Bedding sheets didn't smell fresh and had stains on them and toilet wasn't clean!! When i made a complaint all that was done was room changed for me. It was late and i ended up staying as i needed to get to work next day. Asked for refund and told the manger would call me. Never spoken to manger since.

Repeat visitor for Dial House. As always I find all staff members very hospitable and accommodating. I can see the hotel is transforming now with new furniture. I have been told hotel will start offering lunch and dinner from mid December onward. What I like about this hotel is often I get upgraded to double room when single booked, obviously subject to availability. All in all, good clean rooms, comfortable beds, power showers and excellent hospitality 😊

Well what can i say. Stayed here to wake up in the night to find i been bitten by bed bugs!! Checked the bed to find them as clear as day... Do not stay!!
