Days Inn by Wyndham Lockerbie Annandale Water

We arrived at 11 pm on our way North. The staff were very welcoming

We did not hold up much hope for a hotel situated in a services on a motorway but this was a very pleasant surprise. The room was quiet, spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains did their job. We had a good night’s sleep for both the nights we stayed. The shower was good and bathroom clean. The staff were friendly and did their best to please. There are lovely views over the lake from the eating area. Highly recommend this hotel especially if you are using it as a base to visit the area.

An utterly average property. I would have given 3 stars, but needed to downgrade it by one star given the tv satellite connection was so glitchy you couldn't watch it and the shower only provided extremely hot water. There was no way to alter it - it was absolutely scalding the moment it was turned on. Cant think of anything more dangerous, expecially for those travelling with children. I didn't raise these issues onsite, given we arrived in the evening and left first thing in the morning. This review is meant as a warning to others.

Beutiful place but very busy. Rooms are very dated but comfortable and the beds are great. Service is always very friendly and the welcome for the dog is always so lovely.

As aspected the room and facilities are basic

Checked in late. Given what appeared to be an accessible room. Nothing wrong with that other than the plastic mattress covers under the bedsheets. Ok if you’re incontinent I suppose but very uncomfortable and hot. Took them off Also the duvet was extremely heavy and therefore very uncomfortable too

Overnight stay. My first. Hotel lady at reception was so helpful An excellent reception she was calm and knowledgeable The TV didn’t work properly,l used my iPad

Staff couldn't do enough for us. We had a problem with the first room and was given another without any problems. The staff that sorted it checked the following day to make sure everything was alright. The rooms are clean with tea / coffee making things, if you required anything extra you just had to ask one of the friendly staff and they got it for you. Great location with good road links to the Scottish borders and beyond. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Very tired no smart phone charging points . Restaurant was just Macdonald Not restaurant.
