Days Inn by Wyndham Lockerbie Annandale Water

Stayed before but seems to be a lot more expensive, probably due to school holidays. Room comfortable but shower and shampoo needed attention as empty and a descale would be helpful to sort shower pressure

It was fairly basic but it had a balcony overlooking a large pond and the countryside

Old school to say the least, £55 on a Monday night is far too expensive

Basic room no usb sockets shame no bar or hot food in the hotel.

Convenient and quiet, picturesque location with very friendly staff who always make you feel welcome. The rooms need a bit of maintenance, especially the bathrooms.

This was good value and we didn’t expect 5 star facilities. It was clean and the staff tried to be helpful. It was a stop off to break up a long drive and was suitable for that, dog walk was a real bonus. My big gripe is that the TV didn’t work, and we discovered the whole system had not been working for weeks. We just wanted to chill in the room for the evening, before setting off early the following morning. Not having a TV was a spoiler in those circumstances and we felt the hotel, knowing that the system was broken, should have warned people in advance and given them the option to cancel. If this hadn’t happened I would recommend the place if you just need to break up your journey.

Everything was good apart from the property. It's old Leaky tap and constant pipe noise [from the heating i think) good job i had earplugs, but staff were nice and i slept well so hey ho

Booked family room for parents and child with lake view while travelling South. Unfortunatley we could not see the apparent lake as there was just tall bushes visible. The additional bed to accomodate our child was a single bed mattress laid on the floor infront of the balcony window. We got a partial refund after complaining about the service which was appreciated. The hotel cost is quite high considering it doesn't offer breakfast.
