Days Inn by Wyndham Lockerbie Annandale Water

For a basic hotel to rest your head, this perfectly fine. No frills. Just a warm , clean, comfortable place to spen the night. Perfect at a very reasonable price.

The room smelt, toilet seat did not fit the pan, taps did not work properly. Whole entrance and room looked desperately in need of redecoration.

Days Inn was comfortable, well presented (corridor had just been redecorated) and in a good location looking over the lake with hills as a backdrop

Easy check in with lovely lady on the front desk after a 2 hour trip. Clean room, but had a slightly drippy tap and was a little outdated in general but did the job for what we needed it for. Well heated and good amenities

The accommodation was fabulous value for money. Very comfortable beds, warm rooms that can easily be aired by turning off the heaters and opening the balcony doors. Some people's comments about decor and the rooms needing upgrading isn't totally fair in our opinion. Some fittings are slightly aged but everything was safe and clean. Got the money charged, you really really can't and shouldn't complain at all. We were in room 1 which is very convenient for access to reception and out when travelling with a dog. The night wasn't without disturbance though from guests in the room above at times and night staff in the room opposite from midnight until 5am knocking about and closing doors. This wouldn't prevent me from staying again and would be interested to try a different room at the opposite end of the corridor. The whole hotel and attached services was extremely dog welcoming which was such a lovely find. The outlook at the back of the hotel over the lake was really nice and a great space for walking the dog. Shame owners don't pick up after their dog and keep them on the lead as requested around site but the space is well managed and has lots of facilities outdoors and in. The hotel rooms are a brilliant size for two adults with a dog. Our check in and out team were really friendly, helpful and offered advice and help with anything we asked. Would highly recommend to anyone to stay here for a night or two.
