Days Inn by Wyndham Lockerbie Annandale Water

This used to be a cracking hotel for a stopover, there is a little lake to the rear and half the rooms have balconies, however it has deteriorated over the past few years to the point where its a dire place to stay, not clean and in much need of refurbishment, its a real shame as the staff are excellent, really friendly.

Place was very clean and cozy. Staff was friendly. And it’s just attached to the service station, which have some great food options.

Beds comfy clean and staff were friendly just needed a few more tea bags ect

Lovely location, really clean and excellent room size. The services next door are very clean too. No noise from traffic or other guests.

We arrived about 20 mins early & 8 enquired if we could check in one of the staff members told me that the reception staff didn’t start work until 3.00pm. We went in & had a coffe at Costa & then checked in after 3.00. The hotel was clean & tidy & the room was nice & warm, overall the stay was very good.

Check-in ... fast, efficient. Staff ... friendly, helpful. Key ... bent. Plumbing ... flaky. Bed ... comfortable. Lighting ... gloomy.

It was just what we needed. Ni frills but a comfortable and warm place to stay. The TV didnt seem to have a connection though.

Ideal access of M74. Dog friendly. Easy parking. Views over the lake. Balcony and patio doors. Coffee and tea making facilities. Comfy bed. Nice countryside around.

Beyond awful it is a bio hazard. Only saw staff when I checked in. I think only two people were running the entire hotel. We only stayed one night and that was too long dog hair all over the carpet and bed husband had an asthma attack. The hotel is filthy and very rundown. There is no restaurant on site. Only a McDonald’s and I am vegan so there was nothing there for me. Do not go here. Pay attention to the other reviews, it may be a convenient stop off for some people, but I’m not prepared to risk my health staying there.
