Queens Hotel & Spa Bournemouth

The location was great. The price was really reasonable as it was a Sunday and Monday. Bar and garden were good.

Shower was very poor: door didn’t close, showerhead didn’t stay in position and tray didn’t drain. Cubicle was tiny and meant it was easy to knock the temperature to very hot. Dangerous! Air con made a knocking sound throughout the night.

I really like the location. Great value as well!

I don't know what to say. There's a sad mix of really nice staff doing their best, an insufficient infrastructure letting them down, and some real failings. I honestly didn't want to leave a bad review as the staff are trying really hard to make the best of a bad lot. Good things, great location, great food in the restaurant and lovely staff. The rest... our room hadn't been hoovered before our arrival, on day two we requested a hoover to clean our own carpet as it hadn't been done, even the next day by housekeeping. The ladies toilets on ground floor near the bar, had no toilet seat...this would seem like an absolute minimum in an allegedly 4 star hotel, and no loo roll in the lavatories near the reception area. There were potentially nice touches like water available in the reception area, but it was empty 90% of the time. I feel sorry about this hotel and hope that it can improve. There's obviously an ongoing refurbishment but eg the hall carpets on forth floor are unforgivably stained and dirty. And lets not start on the fiasco of how parking is allocated...

The bathroom, not a single hook or hanger for the towels, the shower wasn’t good enough . No fruit for breakfast, staff were polite but not professional
