Days Inn by Wyndham Watford Gap

Receptionist Jackie very helpful on booking in, assisted with couple of small issues. All staff friendly and helpful. Was in an accessible room , plenty of space just needed some TLC in the bathroom . Struggled to use shower as it over bath, may be a good idea to change accessible room bathrooms in to wetrooms, I have mobility issues and found it hard, anybody in a wheelchair would not be able to shower. Slide door on bathroom very heavy to slide . Also the amount of parking spaces for cars outside front of Days Inn very limited only about 10 , rest of spaces were for loading or coaches, also there was only 1 disabled parking bay. For the amount of rooms direct parking by hotel definetly at a minimum. Would still use Days Inn because handy for visiting relative .

Great last minute stay after travelling. Simple quick booking process even at 2am. Proper motel ... easy in, easy out.

Good value for money on the motorway with food hall and shops and garage nearby.. Our room was comfortable and clean with no problems.

The staff was amazing but the app showed it on the water canal and was misleading !! The staff Cristina made up for it ! She was extremely kind and gracious to me for being all alone in the UK going to the Crick boat and music festival!

Nice to have a bath in the room. Coffee and tea making facilities. Mcdonalds on the services which is handy. Guests can cut through on the local road too which saves time.

Decor in need of a bit of an update. Stairwell really creaky underfoot. After going south to go north one day, I discovered that wasn’t necessary because of the exit behind the food court I discovered on a walk the next day. Wish I’d been told about it.

Friendly, cheery staff. Good clean room.
