Not a place to go for a long time but would only advice one night. It was a place I would nit recommend. Key did not work which was nit good for a disabled and arthritis individual. Room was not big enough. Bathroom was dirty and broken in certain areas. Toilet seat was broken and did not flush properly. Internet was extremely terrible and poor. Tv had no good channels. Not a trip I want to remember.

Plus points: friendly messages before check-in explaining how to access the hotel from the northbound motorway. Room was spacious, beds clean and comfortable. Relatively little road noise despite the location. Kettle with tea and coffee. Paid £7.50 for a £10 voucher to spend on breakfast in the services next door (no food at the hotel itself). Minus points: unpleasant smell in the room, reminiscent of a men's urinal (we slept with the windows open). Fixtures and fittings all very tired, especially noticeable in the bathroom where the surfaces are peeling and stained. Walls are really thin, so were kept awake by the people next door who were up talking until 3am - it felt like they were in the room with us. Learned a lot of their opinions about football! Did the job but I wish honestly that I'd paid £10-15 more and gone somewhere a little nicer.

Struggled to find the hotel not clearly marked. Phoned customer services… first person left me on hold for 12 minutes. Phoned back again a lady clearly took the piss out of me asking for all my details then when asked for the hotel number gave me a fake number. Third time time lady gave me the number I had just called on. After asking the police where to go I got the help. Lady at reception was amazing! Incredibly helpful and disgusted with the service given. Hotel was ok, but more detail on cleaning needed but still pleasant overall. Thankyou to the lady on reception!!!

Very easy check in with a friendly lady called Jackie. Pleasant spacious room, it was really quiet which I was surprised about being at the motorway services. Very clean, the bed was comfy. The bathroom was spotless but could do with a revamp. We got a great deal booking in advance and I would defo stay again.

Perfect for what we wanted. Perfect place for an overnight stay on the way down South. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely gentleman on reception when we arrived quite late at night. The room was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I think the negative reviews are unjustified. For us as a family it was just what we wanted as an overnight stop on our way South from the North East. Best value for money place we could find in the summer holidays. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

We were really fortunate during our stay to have Carole as our personal concierge. She provided us with local delicacies including the celestial "haribo" as opposed to the expected chocolate which is so cliche. Carole really enabled us to have maximum enjoyment at the property. We would have enjoyed the room for much longer had we not got completely lost twice: first having initially exited the northbound carriageway to find there was no hotel, realising the mistake and then heading towards Coventry to find a place to join the southbound carriageway; and second trying to find at least one sign pointing the way to the hotel behind the many parked trucks which obscure its presence from the entrance to the services. However given what we planned to use the room for the veiled location was not unappreciated. I would say it would be a good idea to bolt the beds to the wall as when it gets a bit rough it did tend to drift and it's difficult to find your rhythm when you're wheeling across the floor. The hanging rail in the wardrobe was good and sturdy and took a fair bit of weight which only added to the fun Carole had already provided. Unfortunately our stay did have a downside. There was a strange device hanging out of the window which we assumed would have heightened our erotic experience. However we were very dissatisfied that carole decided not to leave the key.

We stayed to break up a long drive, arriving late at night & exhausted, the reception isn’t manned at all times and the friendly night manager called us to check we were still coming. I’m not sure what would have happened if we’d missed that call. Hotel is *very* tried and in dire need of a refurbishment. Whilst the beds were clean and comfortable the rest of the room was a health hazard. Filthy carpet, dodgy wiring and a soft spot in the floor in front of the bathroom that felt like if I stepped on it too heavily I might end up in the room below. The breakfast voucher on sale at reception (£7.50 for £10 worth of credit in the service station eateries) is decent value. The Ramada at Newport Pagnell services in Milton Keynes is just a little bit further up the motorway and offers much better, recently refurbished, rooms for a similar price.
