Great staff. Clean and comfortable

Hotel was excellent. Room was spacious and very clean. A big plus was a bath as well as a shower. Plenty of free parking onsite. Check in easy. Very pleasant staff (with one exception as below). Bed was large and extremely comfortable. Good bar and restaurant on site. I nice touch was a discount card for first drinks for guests. Great location for Sydney's Northern beaches area.

I would have rated this stay 100%, apart from one event that spoilt the stay. I refer to some red wine spilt on carpet. I reported immediately to reception, and asked for cleaning materials. Acting quickly I could have cleaned totally. But, reception said "don't worry, carpet is being cleaned next week. That will fix it". So we left it at that. Then an odd experience with a brusque housekeeping person next day (who walked in with minimal pleasantries, looked at the stain and walked out again. No comments. Odd). Pretty annoyed when we then received our Visa statement to see a charge for cleaning of the carpet. I actually would have no complaint, if I had not reported it and offered to fix it, and was told not too. If I had not reported, I would absolutely have accepted the charge. As I said above, this experience really took the gloss off a lovely stay.

Location was lovely, staff and check in were friendly. Meals were good at the hotel.

We’ve stayed here multiple times with the family and we always find the facility spacious, clean, with perfect proximity to the beaches and dinner options. Will stay again!

Very central to all facilities

Having to use a bath for showering. Very dangerous for 80 year olds. Perhaps we should have mentioned that when booking.
