Haven’t eaten here in a while but delighted to report high standards remain. Warm and welcoming. Looked after really well by Abbi and Kris and by Andy. Food superb, service excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I have just celebrated my 70th Birthday at The Ashbourne Hotel, Rob and his staff couldn’t be more helpful. A lot of our party guests stayed there & all spoke highly of their accommodation the & breakfast they served. Thankyou for a lovely night! We will be back soon for another of your superb Sunday lunches.

What a lovely collection of buildings around a welcoming courtyard, approached through a nice little village. Ample parking too. Management and staff very smartly and professionally attired and genuinely good customer service. The furnishings in the bar/restaurant areas are quirky and add a great atmosphere. My dinner was quickly served, well presented with generous portions. Breakfast was cooked to order and used fresh quality produce. My 1st floor bedroom in the main building was spacious and a pleasant space to spend the evening. Perhaps the lighting could have been a little brighter to offset the darkish colour scheme and a wider armchair than the tub chair would have been appreciated. I was very pleased overall with my stay as part of a motoring touring holiday and would happily return if in the area.

We were staying at the Ashbourne for 2 nights due to a friends "big birthday" bash, so we didn't really know what to expect. Not only was our room better than we'd expected, the food in the restaurant was excellent - both of which belied their respective costs. Service (from Tracey) was also polite and attentive. We would definitely stay here again next time we're up this way.
