"Top Vacation Rental Choice in on Seven Mile Beach"

10.0

Can't say enough about the Grandview Condo's. My wife and I spent a week in Unit 1021 and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff and Manager Kanesha were so professional and no detail was too small for them to attend to. The location is central to everything you want to do. I suggest that you rent a car ( we got a Jeep which is the best way to get around especially in the remote areas if you like to explore) and shop for supplies/food at the local "Kirk" market which is about a 10 minuet drive. Eating out at most places will cost and average of $80.00 so having a fully furnished condo will save you a ton of money. Eat like a local and you will save a lot of money. Chicken chicken is a great place for lunch, XQ's is fabulous for lunch or dinner and a 3 minuet walk from the condo. Ask Carolynn to make you a "mini Guiness " Happy hour is 5-7 . Best pizza on island. The upside down APPLE PIE will make you cry for more. Best we ever ate. ( Sorry grandma).

"Beautiful and convenient location; flawless condo"

10.0

The grounds are highly picturesque, the pool is perfect for the little ones and the reef is wonderful for snorkeling (especially on calmer mornings; keep an eye out for urchins against rock walls and the odd stonefish). Our condo, 622, had magnificent views facing the ocean and pool, modern appliances (loved the large fridge especially), solid wifi, nice interior design, super comfortable beds, decent cable and nice space. We travelling with our 8yr old daughter and 18 month old son. The condo was spacious and clutter free, allowing my little monster to run around without the risk of breaking anything. The staff were highly available, very friendly and went out of their way to assist whenever we needed something or had a question. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned every 3 nights. Great location for beaching and also decent food and drinks.

"Quiet condo with beachfront even at high tide"

8.0

Residents of St George actually live at this condo, so this is not just a tourist trap. Pool large enough for lap swimming and crystal clear. Nice trees on beach for shade. Beautiful white sand crystal clear water. There are man made coral pools for swimming close by and a ship wreck off shore to snorkel. No mosquitoes. A lot of places are being worked on in vicinity, but this one is quiet and complete. The kitchen had everything we needed. Tennis courts and grill. Gym next door if you can afford it. I was disappointed that we could not walk the 5 mile beach each day easily due to sand erosion and hard to get around outcropping next door. Needed to walk on sidewalk by very busy main road to access full beach walk. We had never been to Grand Cayman and love Maui and went due to time in air. Here are my island complaints. This is not a tropical island. It does not smell good, if fact, it stank due to garbage and car exhaust on main drag where everyone walks. The snorkeling was disappointing. So much plastic garbage in the coral. It was not laid back, and cars beep and speed and cut people off. Prices! Exorbitant. C dollar is $1.25 US We spent a fortune at the grocery store. Didn't catch on until last day that tip is already added to restaurant bill and were tipping on tip. Next trip will be a longer plane ride back to Paradise.
