Courtyard by Marriott Kunshan

I've stayed at many Courtyards in the US and none was ever like this. The room size was about the same, but it was much nicer and the bathroom was much nicer. I was on the "executive level" and I'm not sure if the rooms on the other levels are the same, but I was very happy. I would happily stay here again (and plan to soon). Internet speed was good. TV was large (but I don't remember if I ever used it). Bed was comfortable and shower was great. The breakfast buffet (included with my rate) was HUGE and the food was very good overall. Probably 2nd only to a Marriott I stayed at in Shanghai and only because the quality there was slightly higher, but fewer options. They had Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and western foods so I can't imagine what you'd want that wasn't there. Staff in the breakfast area was also very friendly. I used the executive lounge once, but it was almost closing so I can't give a very good review. At that time, they had a few desserts and drinks. The room was nice enough. This would have been "good" for a US Marriott. I've never even seen a lounge in a Courtyard in the US. There are a few restaurants in walking distance including an decent Japanese one. The location is at the intersection of 2 main streets so its pretty convenient.

Right on the main road simple lobby a high rise with a good sleek interior rooms. Rooms are of decent size and staff is very friendly. the breakfast is served on the first floor coffee shop. A good breakfast spread with local and continental options. A simple Gym, accessible through the room key opening door. Nice and friendly staff. Over all a very pleasing experience.

Staffs are kind and attentive. Room was clean. Business lounge lacks of good wines.

Great business hotel, comfortable rooms, good breakfast and Wifi which actually works;-) Staff were friendly, and the exec lounge was good for a relaxing drink after a long day. My hotel of choice when I am on business in Kunshan!

I visit Kunshan once a month for business & I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel. Although there was a discrepancy between the quoted rate and actual rate when I checked in, the hotel still gave me the lower rate (although it was a bit of a nuisance). The hotel room was clean and the internet was stable, which is the most you could for being in China. The room was of good size. The service during breakfast could be slightly improved but was decent enough. The coffee though has room for improvement. Having access to the executive lounge, their evening buffet was quite decent with an assortment of food and drinks. I can see myself returning again in the future.

The male staff at the cafe for breakfast are very efficient and polite
