Floating Sea Cove Resort & Marina

Sea Cove shouldn’t be advertised as a “Resort & Marina” because it’s just a motel and there’s no marina. The floor in my room was dirty and so was the bathroom. Hairs throughout room. No bathroom mat to stand on after getting out of the shower and no entrance mat to wipe your shoes on prior to entering room. I didn’t expect the Ritz Carlton, but it was only slightly better than camping.

It was what I expected for what I paid. I would stay here again.

So nasty... you shouldnt have this as a listing. Its an old project house for sure.

Property was clean and quiet No complaints

We had booked 3 nights here, but we walked away after the first night without a refund. We talked to the manager and showed the dirt in the unit to no avail. Expedia virtual assistant wasn’t any help.

The floors were dirty. The beds were terrible. They had crunchy plastic on the mattresses (maybe that’s a good thing) and were very spongy. There was nothing floating about it. Gravel parking lot. Some of the windows in our unit were boarded up. The AC was a very noisy window unit. Would not recommend. Wish I could get my $$$ back.

The property is run down and a bit depressing. Was clean enough (except for the bottle under the bed) but the room itself is run down so not pleasant. (Worn out shower floor, scaley kitchen faucets). No towel wracks. Loose electrical outlets. Internet happened to be down. No coffee. Afew palm trees around, but kind of depressing. Small fishing pier. Seems as though the place may, at one time, been in much better shape. Should charge much less for what you get.

They would not answer the phone at check in(7pm) slept in parking lot and tried to get my room at 8am and the manager would not wake up.

Terrible place to sleep. Bed is super small place is old and dirty. Jim front desk is super nice that’s the only good thing to say about this place nothing else.

Jim and Mike are great! Nice guys very welcoming and friendly. This is basic lodging. It’s clean. We booked last minute and stayed just one night. Wasn’t expecting much based on some of the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. The place was exactly what we needed. It’s very basic.The price was right especially compared to the really high prices in the keys. Great location, near restaurants. Don’t hesitate to stay here.
