"Chapung - a quiet gateway resort at the Padi Field"

Recommended to stay in Chapung villa with your loved one / family if you like to spend some quiet time away from the city / beach. It's right at the padi field. Service from the staffs are good / efficient. Resort is about 15-20 mins drive from the central city, and shuttle is provided free by the resort!

"Chapung is superb"

4 nights here was sublime. I think the word is out now about this place, but go if you possibly can. The setting is incomparable, the staff are gracious. The accommodation is elegant and comfortable. The hard part is leaving. If it's available, & you can stretch to it, villa 2 is the owner's residence and is extraordinary.

"Large pool and excellent view"

Very large pool. Definitely not plunge size. Enough to swim laps in. Extremely comfortable villa with large living spaces, bathroom and dressing room. View of the pool and rice fields/foliage every morning was unforgettable. Could have stayed for 2 weeks... Location is a little more remote, but still only about 10-15 mins to the noise and tourists in ubud. We enjoyed the quiet environs. Massages can be had in your villa for around 25000IDR. Food not great and items on 3rd page of breakfast menu are not free. Eat elsewhere, but make sure you plan time in your villa to relax. Furnishings all seem high end but showing signs of wear/bleaching e.g. Room shutters were difficult to operate at times as they seemed to have been abused.
