Chapung Sebali Resort

We arrived to Bali for the first time. The hotel arranged taxi to pick us up from the place we were staying near the airport. The driver Wayang got us some water and cold towels before we got in the car. From the start we knew , the first impressions were really nice and welcoming. This driver then took us for a whole day out next day to explore Ubud. Such a lovely man and a good driver! When We arrived to the resort We genuinely felt welcome. The staff were extremely helpful and informative. God knows why but our room got upgraded to the room with a private pool and afternoon tea/ snacks as well as breakfast! which was a lovely shock! We met the chef on our last day , and thanked him because the food was exceptional! Safe to say best i ever tasted! The room.. i’ll never ever forget this room! (15) such an amazing place to wake up to and just BE..no faults whatsoever. Also my boyfriend proposed to me in there! So it will be super special for us!! Jungle Fish restaurant. Staff were so nice and caring , food, drinks, views were lovely!!. I can not explain in words - must go and experience the whole resort! We 110% will be coming back next year and bringing our family to stay! I honestly have nothing wrong to say about the place! Thank you ! Thank you! Thank you! ♥️ Nathan and Orinta

A relaxing, stylish and luxurious retreat with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was great for breakfast, lunch and dinner with healthy options and also some lovely cocktails! Loved the feel of the place with the modern decor but the Balinese feel. So good we went back using a day pass!

Chapung Sebali is probably one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed in. Located in Ubud, the resort is about 15 minutes away from the central. If you don’t want the busy street and loud noise, then this place is yours. All you’re going to hear are the birds chirping and roosters crowing (in the morning). I say Chapung Sebali is best for relaxation and meditation. Breakfast is serve everyday at 7:30 at the pool. Lucky for us, our reservation includes free breakfast so that helped. But no sweat, you’re in Bali, so everything is affordable. Chapung has the most beautiful panoramic pool you could ever dream of. Who doesn’t want that jungle view right ? They have it open to the public, so don’t be surprised if you go in for a swim in the afternoon and the place is packed. Also if you’re looking for a good photo-opt for instagram, then this place is yours! Lol Chapung Sebali staffs are very friendly, or maybe that’s just the trait of the Balinese people. You won’t see nothing but a smile on their face and greets you always if you’re passing by. Overall, if i go back to Bali, I’d definitely would like to stay here again in a heartbeat.

Can’t recommend this hotel enough. A spot of paradise in the jungle. Food, staff, room, pool and spa were amazing!!! It’s not in central ubud but they offered shuttle service which was great and there’s a nice walking path to the town center.

Extremely friendly staff. The view and surroundings are stunning and a whole day spent by the pool too easy. Rooms were airy, clean and relaxing. There is a small gym with weights and rowing machines overlooking the valley. Food was very tasty. A resort that integrates with the environment, very well thought out. It was a fabulous stay and very worth the visit and money spent.

Chapung is jungle paradise. The room was outstanding with the most beautiful bathroom i have ever seen. The spa area was also very well designed and I had a relaxing massage after a long flight. The breakfast was very good but the food at the restaurant was just ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is the perfect place for excellent getaway. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Chapung Se Bali. I truly enjoyed both the room, the food and the area. It’s located in such a beautiful spot in the ubud djungle, and the attention to detail in the interior design is flawless! Unfortunately the speakeasy bar was closed for renovation when we were there. But I would definitely want to go back to Bali just to experience the hotel and the nature around it again! Just two things for the hotel to consider: The jungle fish pool area should really be made a non smoking area, at least parts of it! There were quite a lot of ants by the pool in our room, I understand if the hotel doesn’t want to use chemicals that would disturb the balance of the nature - but maybe there are some natural alternatives for reducing the amount of ants? :)

Amazing room and pool, one of our best stays in Bali.

It was my second time staying at this property I really like it. The location is perfect You are between the rice fields and the jungle The views from some rooms are amazing. Try to get the room with a private pool Really nothing bad to say except that the owner started to overbuild and the sense of being in the country side is disappearing. And please those 3 bronze statues at the entrance are really bad. Have NOTHING to do with The rest of the ambiance

Hotel is very nice, the pool villas are beautiful, the nature surrounding the hotel is also very nice. Good food for breakfast and plenty of choice for snacks at the pool.
