Chapung Sebali Resort

This hotel ruined every other hotel we will ever stay at. Amazing property and an even more amazing staff that was very helpful in suggesting activities and restaurants for us during our stay. I honestly can't write enough to do this hotel any justice.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chapung Sebali. The staff went out of their way to give us a very personal stay by addressing us by our names, giving us a personalized tour of the resort and activities at the resort before check in. Room service was done twice a day so rooms were clean and fruit bowl and water was replenished at all times. We took particular appreciation in the finer details of the resort - from the choice of furniture to the views from the room - everything was very tastefully done

The hotel ground and setting was so serene & peaceful & green - exactly what we were looking for! the rooms were so clean & very well appointed, and the mezzanine floor was great for the kids! facilities were fantastic and the service was exemplary of Balinese hospitality. Very small comments - the in-room toilet has no door nor screen - not so pleasant when there are 4 of us sharing the room, so we ended up using the outside common bathrooms sometimes. Also our mezzanine had no separate AC (unlike what we saw in our adjacent units), so the kids were sleeping in an attic space where all the hot air gathered and did not have the most restful sleep. There is also no window dressing at the mezzanine so kids were woken early by rising sun. Still, we would not hesitate to return, but next time we will make sure to get the correct room that has AC at the mezzanine! Food quality was 7/10 (pancakes were doughy), but we were so blown away by the beauty of the premises that we ignored the small inconveniences.

WOW. What a resort. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. The resort is idyllic, the pool is just stunning and there is something magical about swimming in an infinity pool in the middle of the jungle at night! We were also offered a guided free walk down the ridge walk into Ubud - with collection at the other end. Highly recommend if they are running this (season specific). The food is also first class, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in

This is an amazing resort located just a 15-minute drive from key Ubud sights like the Tegallalang rice terraces. It's beautiful, the service is great and the food is just delicious. The pool becomes a go-to hangout for other travelers, which is fun!, but take the hotel staff up on their offer to book hotel beds. Definitely would stay here again.

It felt like we landed in Paradise! Beautiful surroundings, resort is located in the middle of ricefields, rooms are spacious and we loved the Danish/Balinese design. Trendy pool area , good spa and treatments, restaurant with a beautiful view and delicious food.

It is a very quiet hotel, there's nothing to do in the evenings unless you get the hotel shuttle into Ubud. The breakfast is limited, you can only choose one option from the menu, the formal dining restaurant is overpriced in comparison to restaurants in Ubud town. This hotel really only suits for a very quiet holiday and it's remote location requires a taxi drive everywhere. The staff are friendly but due to their limited English they regularly misunderstand orders.
