Geneva Motor Lodge

The motel is very clean and well maintained and the bedding is excellent and very comfortable. It has recently been redecorated and refurnished to a high and comfortable standard. Reception staff although very pleasant and helpful, need very urgent training with the telephone system.

upon arriving, we could not see reception parking, so started parking in a space that was available opposite reception to note that the manager/owner was standing in the entrance way staring at us. Feeling uncomfortable, after gathering our bags we got out the car the immediately be told - 'NO you cant park there that is not for you'. Perhaps asking if she could help would have been a better approach to the situation! The room was pretty old, the bathroom was dirty and the bed was terrible the amount we paid did not reflect the accommodation. we would not stay again.

Good clean value for money Motel Ideal for city and beach front and parking free

Nice studio and good value for $. Had upstairs studio with spa bath. Unit very clean and in updated condition. Queen bed in good condition, quite firm. Staff go out of their way to be helpful. Pleasant and welcoming. Pity that some female guests downstairs appeared to be having arguments and storming off at least twice in the evening and once in the depths of the night. The side soundproofing seems adequate but our front windows were slightly open and the sound woke my husband up.

Not the best motor lodge I have stayed in. There was a spa bath in the bedroom!!!!! And to get to the toilet you had to walk through the shower room. The walls were very thin and although you could not hear everything in the next rooms, you knew that the children were running around. Would not stay here again.

The spa bath lacked privacy. Everything else was fine.

There were little bugs all over the windowsills, they didn't have enough toilet rolls for a family of four and didn't put another one in when they came to clean the room, I had to go and ask for one. There wasn't really enough coffee, the bathroom was in need of a decent exit moulding and revamp. there was no information about the motel or the area or how to order breakfast or anything like that. Upon arriving the owner was not very friendly looked at us very suspiciously when we first walked in, which made me worry that our booking hadn't been made (online), The beds were very comfortable to sleep in but unfortunately for $220.00 a night I would have expected more. Sorry!
