Needed air conditioning and better TV service. Room wasn't serviced one day.

All in all a fine place to stay for a short time in Rotorua, we did have some issues getting ice for our drinks, but that was resolved after the second day

Car parking is vey thight but overall the hotel and service is great.

Our stay here was a convenient walk to the CBD. The staff were very helpful with regards to contacting a tour for pick up confirmation. We didn't use the spa, but it would have been nice had we had time. Comfortable and well sourced in terms of what we needed.l

We received a cup of milk on arrival was shocked for a motel to provide milk was given at check in

Nice room and lovely staff. Room could do with an update (bathroom) but no complaints. Aircon could be nice as room got hot during the night. Walk to town takes approx 20 minutes. Would happily stay again.

We stayed for 3 days from 25-Dec onwards. After checking out the owner accused us of theft of 6 towels. We had offered that they check our luggage. They didn't and called the Police to scare us. We call police back and the police let us go after hearing how illtreated we were. The hotel then charged NZD100 from our credit card.

The hotel was ok but dated. Everything was ok for a 3 star except the beds were beyond unacceptable. We had horrible sleep because of it. A hotel with unacceptable beds can only get a 2 star in my thinking no matter what the rest of hotel offers. Hotel and bed go hand in hand.

Staff tried to get us to cancel our booking through Expedia so they did not have to pay the commission fees to Expedia, we said no as this is how we found the motel so they shold pay the company that gave them the advertisement to get customers. The bed spread had oil/dirt stains all over it We could not use the plug socket near the bed as the headboards where screwed to the wall so we could not access them the only plug socket that we could us was in the kitchen area. There was no coffee available only tea or hot chocolate. had to put up with workman who were staying at the motel drinking and talking outside the rooms till very last, in the morning there was broken glass outside our door. We had a early start the office hours did state on the door that it would be open to drop off keys but was locked so had to leave key in the room.

Ok for one night but that’s it. Staff was not friendly and with limited English skills.
